On this cold December morning I had not expected the lot to be full to see the sunrise near Goat Island.
The light stayed on for a split second each time.
Yet the cars overflowed by fisherman who rowed dinghies to their lobster boats. So much more activity than I anticipated.
I also met another photographer who shared other opportunities for fun angles of the pier itself.
My hands grew numb and painful as I snapped pictures of the changing colors and scenes of the sky, birds, boats, reflections and people
A surprisingly active and fulfilling morning.
I took each picture with one of my oldest and dearest friends in mind as today is her birthday. I wondered which she might like the best and hoped that while we aren’t together on this day she may know how much she is in my thoughts.
This is a non-promotional blog. I am not a photographer nor am I selling anything through this blog. Professionally I am a Business Transformation Specialist focused on gaining efficiencies and reducing costs for major corporations. Recent life experiences made me better appreciate the present and all that can be seen by increasing my focus and attention on my surroundings. I always enjoyed going out and exercising and I would look but I did not see as my attention was on resolving some problem. Captured through pictures and sharing insights about various locations, I hope others can enjoy my research and insights and allow themselves to pause a few moments and truly appreciate and learn new things. When you follow me that is my only gift. To know I have touched you enough to want to follow the blog.
