I spent a cold winters afternoon at Grace Farms in an inspirational and warm environment.
One of their beautiful glass buildings is their library filled with opportunities for growth and insights.
I recognized I selected a book which may take me on a journey far away while sitting in New Canaan, CT.
Its messages were repeated throughout to reinforce its principles with steps to apply them to your daily life.
One practice I have tried to employ in recent years is one recognizing how anger may be counter productive. I found comfort in the Dalai Lama sharing his philosophy.
I have found very little said in anger that isn’t regretted later – there are some that can admit that and there are those that can’t. The downstream impacts may be unnecessarily irreparable.
Take a break from whatever you’re doing to allow your body to recover from the physiological reactions of anger. Your present and your future will thank you.
This is a non-promotional blog. I am not a photographer nor am I selling anything through this blog. Professionally I am a Business Transformation Specialist focused on gaining efficiencies and reducing costs for major corporations. Recent life experiences made me better appreciate the present and all that can be seen by increasing my focus and attention on my surroundings. I always enjoyed going out and exercising and I would look but I did not see as my attention was on resolving some problem. Captured through pictures and sharing insights about various locations, I hope others can enjoy my research and insights and allow themselves to pause a few moments and truly appreciate and learn new things. When you follow me that is my only gift. To know I have touched you enough to want to follow the blog.
Respectfully (Stay Safe),
