NY- Hudson Valley-Red Hook- Poets walk

From the moment I parked the car I saw people on benches reading or writing in a journal.

The walk was easy and relaxing and beautiful. The weather also happened to have been perfect not being too hot.

The walk is a lollipop look of about 2 miles. From the lot you reach the first overlook with several benches and the rustic gazebo.

Continuing down the path the approach to the next overlook was through a meadow of wildflowers and butterflies. I followed this bitterly around from flower to flower.

After the Meadow the path went into a forest setting with wooden and stone bridges following over a delicate stream.

I enjoyed a walk in nearby Rhinebeck eating at Terrapin and then seeing the sunset at Ferncliff Forest.
