Post Labor Day is the start of my “sunset season” as areas previously available to residents only are now available to all!
I parked and faced the sun as it fell behind a low long cloud that fell behind the trees.

As I watched people leave the lot in discouragement, I decided to sit and see if potentially the clouds might move to the right.

Yes! Eureka! There it is! There it is!

I got out of the car and started walking along the shore to capture the water stream in front of the stone wall with the peaking sun beyond.

A man started walking across the rocks to get a better view. 😉 yes the rocks with the big “Keep Off” sign spray painted on them.

I continued to the beach to find some crashing waves in anticipation of the expected rain this evening with boats bouncing beyond.

Ah then there was the gazebo which added an element of intrigue with the sound and force of the wind trying to keep me out.

Pear tree point had a lot to offer in a small package. I was so glad I stayed.
Keep in mind it’s residents only from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Cell phone shots as my camera is in the shop.
