Decisions . . . decisions . . . Having been to Napa Valley and Sonoma, we wondered whether to continue up the coast of California or go inward to Paso Robles and try some wine. The decision was made when Justin Vineyard was there as that’s a frequent go to wine in our home area.Continue reading “CA: Paso Robles- Justin Vineyards”

CA: Pacific Grove- Point Pinos Lighthouse
The day was long driving through Big Sur, walking around Carmel By the Sea, hiking the shore of Point Lobos. But alas, there was still the opportunity for a sunset. I am drawn by reflections. I am drawn by the clouds in the water. I am drawn by the clouds above the sun. Everyone elseContinue reading “CA: Pacific Grove- Point Pinos Lighthouse”

CA- Carmel By the Sea

I would look for a restaurant with an alcove in which to sit and absorb your surroundings. I didn’t have that opportunity. Down by the shore you’llContinue reading “CA- Carmel By the Sea”
CA- San Francisco

Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Bernal Heights, Mission Dolores Park, Alamo Park, Lombard Street and Fisherman’sContinue reading “CA- San Francisco”
CA- Big Sur

I personally am scared of heights so had to hand over the wheel and hide a bit but when I peeked out it was beautiful! I most enjoyed McWay Falls which wasContinue reading “CA- Big Sur”
CA: San Diego- Del Mar Beach
My travels brought me to visit Del Mar in San Diego. Walking the town finds wonderful shops and places to eat. We chose Beeside Balcony, medittaranean fare. Down the road, turn left on 15th Street, you’ll find a park going into Del Mar Beach. Walk by the cliffs and step into the water and beContinue reading “CA: San Diego- Del Mar Beach”
CA: San Diego: Moonlight Theater
Set in a suburb of San Diego, CA in the town of Vista is the Moonlight Theater. I was told the universe provided for me a perfect night and sight of the moon over the theater. The venue also has a lovely restaurant overlooking the park and restrooms. To add to the perfect weather andContinue reading “CA: San Diego: Moonlight Theater”
