Silver Sands is golden! I love to travel the shoreline and Silver Sands is one of the best with 3/4 mile of all weather boardwalk skirting the sound and the Marsh. Don’t be deceived by the name. Steep Rock has options for everyone. Steep Rock preserve certainly has character with its bridges, train tunnel, rock scrambles and summit. There are different levels of trails for hiking, bicycling and horseback riding.
